AI expands capacity, it does not have to shrink it
When AI speeds up a task, it creates additional time. A company can use that time for growth, education, new products, better service — or for the free time of its people.
The decision on how to use that recovered time always stays with humans.
Example: key account manager
A key account manager who used to manage three major clients well, with AI support for offers, emails, meeting preparation, reports and follow-up, may be able to manage six in the same amount of time.
As a rule, this does not mean losing a job — it means opening capacity for new clients and growth.
Example: designer and marketing
A designer or marketing expert who previously prepared one or two proposals can, with AI-supported workflows, prepare five, ten or more variations for review and decision.
Human judgment, taste and brand understanding stay essential — AI only increases the number of options and speeds up preparation.
Example: a stable business
Some companies already have stable clients and do not necessarily need aggressive growth. For them, AI can mean finishing in three working days what previously took five.
The remaining time can be used either for growth or for free time — depending on management decisions.
